Janet Holm McHenry is widely admired as a funny, (click to read endorsements and reviews) down-to-earth speaker who relates truth from her heart, study, and experience as a teacher and author on the subjects of prayer, prayerwalking, spiritual disciplines, school matters, leadership, parenting, and relationships. “It’s my goal,” Janet says, “to encourage my audience with practical and spiritual help, hope from my stories, and honest humor from my heart.”

Janet has more than 20 years of experience as a public school educator – teaching at both the elementary and secondary levels, working as a school academic advisor, and serving as her school district’s teacher mentor and coach. In addition to her 19 published inspirational books, she wrote Teaching Poetry for Carson Dellosa Publishing and co-authored the two Squires courses for the Christian Writers Guild.
Janet has also spoken on spiritual topics such as prayer for the last 15 years for groups of all sizes across the country – from large conferences of thousands to a group with just a handful of people.
